Blackjack has its own terminology. While the terms won’t help you learn how to play blackjack, they will help you understand how to use the interface and communicate with the dealer and other players. Basic words:
- A player- is a customer who battles with the dealer. He accepts the bets.
- The dealer- is a casino employee who is responsible for scoring, prize payouts and dealing cards. He answers questions and explains the rules. He also deals the cards.
- A hand- is a set of cards that a party participant receives from the dealer. It is the starting chart. Blackjack cards have denominations ranging from deuce to ace. After placing a bet, the player may receive the first two cards.
- A shuffle- is a complete cycle of igp. It starts with the shuffling of decks and ends with the result of a single cut card.
- Shuz – a special container in which the decks are placed and from which the sheets are taken out to deal cards to the players. It is periodically changed. This is the only place where the dealer can deal cards to the players.
- A split card is a piece of plastic in the middle of the shuz that comes out, indicating that the decks need to be changed. After this, betting stops for a while. Once a new shuzu is received, the dealer continues to deal cards.
- Boxing – the seat at which the player plays. Cards are dealt in the box. This is where bets can be placed.
The basic rules of blackjack
A blackjack player wants to beat the dealer. This can be done in two ways. The first is to get more points than the dealer. The second step is to prevent the dealer from overcalling the dealer if the score exceeds 21 points. In doing so, you also need to keep an eye on your own score. Regardless of the dealer’s score, getting 21 points or more means an automatic loss.
